Report to the charts

Every eligible sale from your own store counts toward Billboard, OCC, ARIA and FIMI — automatically.

Your store is a reporting retailer

Sales you make direct to fans count the same as sales anywhere else. No separate process, no manual uploads.

Digital and physical both count

Downloads, albums, vinyl, CDs and eligible bundles all report — from the same store, in the same week.

Know what's counted

See what reported, what's still pending and what won't count, week by week, before the chart closes.

Always included

Billboard

US chart reporting on every eligible digital and physical sale.

Official Charts

UK reporting to the Official Charts Company, same automatic path.

ARIA

Australian chart reporting for eligible releases.

FIMI

Italian chart reporting, added most recently.

Physical sales

Vinyl, CD and cassette report alongside your digital releases.

Bundles handled

Album-and-merch bundles follow the chart rules so eligible sales still count.

Success story

Kacey Musgraves

Two days after Deeper Well dropped, Kacey released a $6 DTC-exclusive 15-track variant with "Ruthless" and an alternate cover. Those direct sales rolled into her first-week numbers — and landed her at #2 on the Billboard 200.

FAQ

Questions & Answers

Which charts does Single report to?

Billboard, the Official Charts Company, ARIA and FIMI. Reporting happens automatically on eligible sales — you don't file anything.

Do sales from my own store really count?

Yes. Your Shopify store reports as a retailer, so a direct-to-fan sale counts the same as one made anywhere else.

Do physical sales report too?

They do. Vinyl, CD and cassette report alongside digital, as long as the release is set up with a valid UPC.

How many releases can I report?

Your plan sets how many UPCs you can report in a period. Compare plans on the pricing page.

When do reported sales show up?

Sales are submitted on the chart week they fall in. The week closes before the chart publishes, so late sales land in the following week.
