Do album sales on Shopify count toward the charts?
Yes. Single reports every eligible sale to Billboard, OCC, ARIA and FIMI for you. There is nothing to submit — a sale from your own store counts the same as one made anywhere else.
Can I import my back catalog?
Yes. Connect your distributor with DistroLink and we pull the whole catalog across: audio, artwork, metadata and ISRCs. Most labels are done in an afternoon. If you do not use a distributor, upload releases yourself instead.
Do I need my own Shopify store?
Yes. Single runs inside your Shopify store rather than replacing it, which is the point — the customer, the data and the URL stay yours. If you do not have a store yet, Shopify takes a few minutes to set up.
