Each week, we look forward to weekly chart releases from all across the world, not just to keep up with what’s hot across the music landscape, but of course to see how our Single Music clients do with their new album releases.
The flashy charts get the attention — Billboard 200, Rolling Stone Top 200, Official UK Charts Top 100 — and admittedly, we’re sometimes as guilty as anyone for not digging deeper to find the wins that may not get the bold headlines. We’re excited to highlight two Single Music clients this week who scored some major victories!
One Voice Children’s Choir, using an exclusive direct-to-consumer sales model, had a great release week and scored a #1 on the Billboard Kid Albums Chart for the week ending May 15 with Hallelujah.
Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music released their long-awaited collaboration Old Church Basement and took the top spot on the Billboard Christian Albums AND top Gospel Albums charts.
A big congrats to both of these clients on their well deserved #1 albums!
But hey, we’re not mad at those flashy charts, either. Check out a quick roundup of Single Music clients new to the charts this week!
